Economy and Jobs
The federal government has struggled with the challenge of cutting spending, balancing the budget, and returning America to economic prosperity. When Michigan struggled during the recession, policies in Washington didn't help. Michigan's success depends on the success of the Metro-Detroit area.

My 10 Year Plan, The Return to Prosperity for America's Struggling Cities will help improve the economic climate in Michigan and other states. The only jobs a government can create are jobs that have a salary paid by your taxes. Jobs are created mainly by the private sector when the environment for job creation is doing well. The federal government, and The Return to Prosperity for America's Struggling Cities, will improve the job creation environment for private businesses.

With friendly policies toward businesses, and her majestic natural beauty, Michigan will become a state everybody wants to do business in.

As your Congressman, I will work tirelessly with Governor Snyder and the rest of the Michigan delegation to bring businesses and jobs back to Michigan.
